Whether a tax bill has been received or not, it is the responsibility of the property owner to pay all taxes owed on their property no later than the installment penalty date.  

Any installment not paid by the penalty date will accrue interest at a rate of 15% per annum.  Such interest will be calculated daily, commencing retroactively from the original installment due date, and be compounded until the balance is paid in full.

Payments are applied to past due balances, including any accrued interest, before being applied to current installments.    

Tax bills can be paid in person at the Treasury Department, located in City Hall at 169 Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895.  In person payments can be made by cash, check, credit/debit card or money order.

Tax bills can be paid online at:  https://tax.riegov.com/etax/.

Tax bills can be paid by (check and money order only) by utilizing the after hours drop box or be can be mailed to:
