Treasury Department / Tax Collections

Treasury Department's mission is to provide innovative and superior treasury services that are reliable, accurate, responsive, and timely.

As part of the Finance Department, the Treasury Department is responsible for managing the revenue and cash flow to ensure enough liquidity for daily operations of the City.  Manages banking, collections, receipts, reporting, investments and disbursement of municipal funds.

Treasury Department collects, records and deposits all public monies paid to and due to the City of Woonsocket including:                                                  Property Taxes                                                                                                Motor Vehicle Taxes                                                                                        Water Fees                                                                                                      Sewer Fees
