How do I dispose of a large appliance?

If you live in a 1, 2 or 3 unit dwelling you can get one sticker per week for a white good like a stove, refrigerator or washer.   You must go to City Hall with your ID and to receive the sticker. Once you receive your sticker, you will need to call the number on the sticker and schedule a pick up.  Once you have it scheduled you will put the item on the sidewalk, ONLY the night before the pickup and make sure the sticker is on it. Directions are written on the sticker for your convenience.  For smaller appliances like Microwaves, Air Conditioning Units, Toasters etc., these must be brought to the Material Recycle Facility located at 943 River Street.  Monday – Friday 7am – 3:15pm and Saturday’s 8am – 11:45am

Please Note:  ALL Appliances may be brought to the Recycle Facility, we simply offer curbside service for the larger ones.
